NATURAL GEMSTONES are exactly that. They are genuine gemstones, straight from nature without human intervention.
If you are anything like myself, then the beauty of a natural gemstone, and the unique beauty and individuality that each gem poses, is the reason we either love, collect or wear genuine gemstone jewellery.
Genuine Gemstones can be so diverse.

Larimar with its mix of natural white and sky blue or even sometimes a more sea greenish blue tone, that sets the scene of an Australian beach on any given day. Each Gem sets its own soothing scene for us to become lost in.

Moonstone with its silvery white undertones and vibrant rainbow flashes or blue hues, that can sparkle, giving you a calming feeling as if you were laying beneath a silvery moon on a summers night. There is just something so special about owning and wearing moonstone jewellery..

Labradorite, with its natural earthy light to midnight brown tones and its vibrant Green/Golden or Blue flashes. This gem is incredible and can change colour at every angle, making it The Stone Of Magic, not only because of its believed spiritually ability, but because of its intense and vibrant beauty.

Turquoise is probably the most diverse of all gemstones, with markings ranging from black to earthy brown, teal green, and sky blues. Each Turquoise gem is like an artwork created by nature. Some with specs, spots, veins or abstract lines, but all with that vibrant “turquoise colour” we love so much. So unique, which is why we should all own at least one of nature’s call our own.

Our Opal Jewellery exhibits our favourite “play-of-color”, displaying a flashing spectral of colours when played under a light source.

Opals however are "hydrophane" and this means that they absorb water and when they do their appearance changes. If the Opals come in contact with water, they will soak it up it like a sponge. If the Opals are submerged in water and allowed to absorb it, they may lose their fire temporarily and turn yellow or brown. Don't worry though, when your opal gem dries out again, the colourful fire will return.

There are no two Natural Gemstones that are identical, and this is why we also supply some reconstructed or cultured gemstone options also for those who prefer a more uniformed look.(Read more about these later)

This also means that gemstones are never mm perfect, and may be out by 1-2(max ) mm from gem to gem, and all sizes described are approximate. We do our very best the source gems as close in size, colour and shape as what shown in the product pictures, so you shouldn’t be in for any huge nasty surprises when buying and receiving our jewellery.
Most Natural Genuine Gemstones contain Inclusions. Inclusions are veins or little crack like lines that form in the gemstone. These are not defects and will not break or crack any further in the future. Some Gemstones, mainly Rainbow Moonstone or Labradorite can also sometimes contain tiny black taurmaline specs, you may notice these as you search through our images.

Please note that your gorgeous natural gem is not damaged, it just has a history, and inclusions are just a part of the gem and it’s natural formation.
Inclusions are not defects, actually far from, they are just how gorgeous gemstones form in nature. Gemstones with inclusions simply indicate that the gem is natural and genuine, and not a man made artificial replica.

Caring for Gemstones

In general, the same rules apply to caring for your gemstone jewellery as your sterling silver jewellery. Please see how to care for your jewellery under

Clean gemstone jewellery gently with a lint-free cloth or soft-bristle toothbrush, along with a solution of warm soapy water. Afterwards, dry gently with a lint-free cloth.

Gemstones can vary in terms of physical properties, so to clean porous stones such as natural turquoise and opal, use a damp soft cloth only – try to avoid the use of detergents and liquids. This just may cause premature fading and loss of vibrancy.

Owning Gemstone Jewellery is a real treat, and we hope you enjoy your treasures as much as we enjoy creating them for you.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your gemstone choices, or our gemstones in general. More than happy to answer any questions.
